PADDY PLANTATION IN NEPAL




Monsoon season (ASHADH-SHRAWAN) is famous for planting paddy in Nepal. The season is humid and slippery, despite of it people enjoy this season by celebrating paddy planting festive as ROPAI in Nepali language. Well this season is an awaited season for farmers for planting paddy in their field. The rice is the main source course food of Nepali people. Paddy farming is also a source of income of the Nepalese lifestyle.



Paddy cultivation has been celebrated by mutual coordination, affection, care, and helping each other. Farmers enjoys their work by creating a fair environment like singing a song (ASARE song), sharing their joys and sorrows among them. Farmers cultivate paddy with enthusiasm. It has been believed that the cultivation have to be finished within 15th Ashadh. 15 Ashadh has been celebrated as DAHI CHURIA DAY. Late Queen used to plant the paddy on the gamala (vase) and celebrate the day.
In case of the late rainfall then planting of paddy may go to the month of Shrawan, makes the farmer upset for planting. They wait for the time as well as rainfall and plant with their hardship. As their lacks technology, people enjoys their planting with hands and some of the field works are made by machines. Today also many villagers use their animals as Ox to plough their field instead of machines as its technology and development in our country.

Greenery environment and scenario which makes the nation most beautiful and elegant.  


SOCIAL MEDIA IN NEPAL


Well it has not been a years that we are using social media, though it has been introduced on 20th century throughout the world. Literally, social media is computer mediated technologies. It facilitates creation and sharing of information, ideas, knowledge, career interest and many other forms of expression.


Social media has been introduced our country to the world. Social media has got its own importance in the life of a particular person. People are getting modern and information around the world. Although, Nepal being a developing country, we see the usage of a mobile in the hands of the people. It has made life easier and reliable. People from different age groups are using mobile to share the information. Internets are the root of social media. Nepalese people are using cyber, different mobile network data and Wi-Fi to use it. Examples of social media are FACEBOOK, TWITTER, YOUTUBE, GOOGLE, INSTAGRAM, and VIBER and so on.
In these days, social media are used for various purposes. It has been using for both positive and negative aspects. Like we hear different social media crimes on Facebook, twitter and many more. It is terrific and vast. On one hand it gives knowledge, information, ideas and makes the work of an individual realistic and accurate whereas on the other hand misuse of social media has led to crimes, destruction and serious problem. We share photos, activities, birthday, many personal information to express joys and sorrows. In reality, it is much more interesting.
We hear many complaints from the parents of an individual regarding the use of social media. It is said ‘children’s are focusing more on social media rather than on their education’.
Social media has helped us to explore the world. People from different ethnics and culture share their values on social media from where we get knowledge regarding their culture. It help to organised the different cultural values and respect.

FOOTBALL



Football, world’s favorite game spans for more than 100years. Football is the international and wanted game of the century. This game one of favorite game of mine. This game is designated for a period of 90minutes (one and half hours), extra time is provided as per the requirements of the game. Two teams each consisting of 11 players (excluding substitute) one off whom must be the GOALKEEPER.
According to ‘FIFA regulations stipulate a football pitch is a minimum of 5,000 square yards and a maximum of 13,000 square yards. The minimum length of the field is 100 yards, with a maximum of 130 yards. The minimum width is 50 yards, and the maximum width is 100 yards.’

Every player in a team has equal and mutual coordination and importance to make a match beautiful. This game has its own rules and regulations which are followed by players which makes match more interesting. It is widely played over world which is enjoyed and loved from different age’s group people. It has termed as a sport game or outdoor game as well. Nowadays, this game is added as extra-curricular activities in the schools, colleges, and universities.

The most absorbing part during this game are free kicks, sidekicks, and penalty. WORLD CUP, EUROPE CUP, LEAGUE is the some of the example of the football game. Peoples are getting crazy and devoted to the game, shows the love for the game. The match between the team that you love is a fearful as well as cheerful moment.

SEASONS IN NEPAL



Nepal is naturally a beautiful country having pleasant weather around year. It rises from 59 meter (194ft) elevation of Terai region to the Mt. Everest (8848m) of Himalayan region. Nepal is topographically divided into three regions; the Himalayan region to the north, the mountains to the middle and the Terai region to the south. Its geographical diversity has divided the seasons into spring, summer, monsoon, autumn and winter. In Nepal, seasons are classified into 6 categories 

                     Basanta Ritu(spring )
Grishma Ritu(early autumn)
Barkha Ritu (monsoon season)
Sharad Ritu (early autumn)
Hemanta Ritu (late autumn)
Shishir Ritu (winter)

Each season has its own importance and meaning to the lives of Nepalese people. Firstly, Basanta ritu (spring) occurs right after the winter. During this season, new buds and flowers blooms. The national flower Rhododendron (Laliguras) blooms and greenery of the environment. People enjoy a festive HOLI (festivals of colours) in this season.



                                 
Grishma ritu(summer season) is the hottest season of all. The temperature is very high during this period. Various types of fruits and crops are cultivated. 

 Barsha ritu(monsoon season) is a rainy season, which provide irrigation to agricultural production and many others. Roads can get muddy and traveling is difficult at this time. Farmers enjoys this season by planting the paddy. They dance, sings and play with mud. They help each other to cultivate paddy and celebrate it as festival.




Sharad ritu(autumn) is the season of festivals. The temperature goes down and farmer waits for harvest of the paddy. The biggest festival of Nepalese people Dashain and Tihar are celebrated during this season. This season is attractive, sky is clean and environment is pleasant.





Hemanta ritu (late autumn) is the season in which temperature starts to fall. The harvesting of the crops are done in this season. People celebrate small festivals. 
 
At last, Shishir ritu (winter season) is the coldest season in the year. The weather is dry and snow fall occurs in higher altitudes. People enjoys this season by creating fire.





Different seasons have different importance and are enjoyed by all the people of the country.
